Success Stories

Abdul Rehman | Gujranwala | Beaconhouse school

Beaconhouse was a name I associated with children of privilege not someone like me. When Grip of Dreams provided support for my education, it felt like a door had opened that I never thought was meant for me. That experience instilled in me a level of discipline, confidence, and ambition that continues to define who I am. I am deeply grateful to Grip of Dreams for not just funding an education, but for reshaping how I saw myself and what I believed I deserved.

Rimsha | Lahore | GC University

In our community, girls rarely made it past intermediate school. My father, Haji Tallat Mehmood, believed in me, but the finances were simply not there. I had the grades, I had the determination — but I had no way forward. Then Grip of Dreams stepped in. Four years later, I graduated with a degree in Computer Science from GC University. I am now among the very few women from my background working in the technology field. To every girl in a village who thinks higher education is not for her — it is. And organizations like Grip of Dreams exist to make sure of that.

Today, I hold a degree in Economics from FC University. I am no longer just a boy from a small town I am proof that where you come from does not determine where you can go. Huda | Concordia College | Lahore

When my father sat me down and told me there was a scholarship that could send me to college in Lahore, I cried. We had watched my siblings receive the same opportunity and transform their lives. Now it was my turn. Concordia College has opened my eyes to a world I only read about in books. I am studying hard because I know what it took for me to get here and I refuse to waste a single moment of it. Grip of Dreams gave me a seat at the table. I intend to earn my place at it.
